Tour Leaders

Tipping is not required, and we make a lot of effort to make sure that all of our leaders are paid fairly. If a leader has done a really good job or made a significant contribution to your trip, you might want to recognize them with a gratuity. We are frequently questioned about the suggested dosage. We'd suggest a range of $20 to $25 per person every week as a general rule of thumb because it's a hard one and depends on personal choice.

Although completely optional, tipping is seen as a way of life in this part of the world. Some local personnel will turn to the group's members for individual praise of certain services provided. Your guide may organise a tips kitty for the group's included activities and meals to make things simpler for you, and if they do, they will keep track of it throughout the tour. For group gratuities, you should budget USD 30, or roughly 2250.00 Indian Rupees. Please tip separately and at your discretion for all additional services and meals during your trip.
